The Roll Continues!

The roll continues. If I was using Rollout I’d be at 5 stacks and one-shotting my enemies.
Took me about 3 hours in Photoshop.

On a roll again. I love these periods where I can get enough of tinkering in Photoshop. Something I started today when I felt like doing something typography based.
Inspiration for this piece was from Nik Ainley’s “Fresh Science Word” piece. I LOVE this guys work and this piece in particular spurred me to make something like it.
Took me about 4 hours in Photoshop.
Ever since I got my DSLR camera I’ve been taking pictures around my town.. This pretty much means 90% of what I shoot is trees and plants. I have been at a loss for what to do with these pictures until I randomly was messing with a picture of my girlfriend. I was wondering what to do for a theme and since she’s very into going green and being organic and all that crap the brilliant idea suddenly popped into my mind.
Took me about 5 hours in Photoshop and minor Illustrator.

I was working in 3D Studio Max just messing around with a Greeble plugin I downloaded and thought to make a random mock event poster. I really like how all the text turned out. I’m trying to make more stuff like this to add to my portfolio. I feel it shows potential employers that I can create something that’d be used by a client.. or something like that.
ENJOY!
I finished this piece that I’ll be entering in the Photoshop Creative monthly contest. Hopefully I’ll win but the past has shown me how suspect their judging system can be. I hope you like it! The theme of the contest is “No Time to Lose” and I illustrated the concept of time slipping away like sand in an hourglass. Enjoy!
This is started to get depressing. Everyday I scour job search websites and send my resume/cover letter out to at least 7 different places everyday (sent out to 13 places two days ago) and I never hear back. I’ve had 3 interviews so far that, despite going very well, didn’t produce any results. I need a sign!!!
